What product or process should we innovate? That is the question that Iván de la Peña, Innovation and Sustainability Alpek, must answer daily. Together with his team they decide what new technologies, optimizations and developments will be made at Alpek.

Alpek, leader in the petrochemical industry, is committed to becoming a company with an innovative essence, which is why they have taken important steps in that direction, creating a common digital platform where the entire innovation process for companies is managed: from registering an idea to approving it, while making sure it’s aligned with the group’s vision. This platform includes plant operations in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Canada and the United States.

Another important step is changing the culture within the group. More than 800 people are ready to plant the seeds of innovation at their companies.
