Leaders that transcend

Because being a leader is more than delegating

Axtel’s Center for Leadership Management is born with a clear purpose: developing better people to have better leaders in the organization. In this program, the attendants focus not only on how to correctly overcome work situations but analyzing their habits at home, work philosophies, traditions and more.

The program is divided in three levels, each one 6 to 8 months long: basic, intermediate and manager/director. Employees that have or will soon have a position of leadership and oversee one or two people take part at the basic level. The intermediate level is made up of coordinators and supervisors that already have at least two years of experience as leaders and work in teams of more than five people. Managers and directors are members of the highest level.

Be a Swiss Army Knife

At the Center, they talk about not being an expert on only one thing, but knowing a little bit of everything, expanding your mind to be able to resolve the biggest amount of problems.

What Would You Do?

The center’s students share what they live every day. Since everyone’s from a different department, interesting conversations of what they would do in another person’s situation begin.

I Get It Because I Know

Day to day problem solving between departments is easier because leaders get to know what leaders in other areas go through.
