Even though we like thinking that we can do everything alone, reality is that to start a venture we normally need a team. As an entrepreneur, being an excellent leader is key to make a project a success.

Our friends from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, share a video about the “leadership signature”, those characteristics that make each persons’ way of leading unique.

Almost at the end of the video, you heard four key concepts to being a leading entrepreneur.

Sensemaking is literally giving sense to the things around us to identify the existing needs.

Relating is to actively listen to others, being open to new visions and creating collaborating relationships.

Visioning is creating a vision of the implicit potential and gives a purpose to the team so to where they are headed.

Inventing is creating the processes and structures needed for that vision to become a reality.
